REBEL and REPEAT

Dear Parents,

It’s time again for our online class.

I am going to begin by asking you to visit your past.

One way to dynamically change your home is to have the courage to visit your own teenage experience and consider the ways you would REBEL and REPEAT.

Here is a 2 minute and 51 second video that will introduce you to this very practical exercise called REBEL and REPEAT.

http://vimeo.com/parentministry/review/52190563/a0a246a34e

Here are two questions that I would love for you to answer:

  1. As you raise your teenager, what is one thing that you want to rebel against from your own teenage experience?
  2. As you raise your teenager, what is one thing that you want to repeat from your own teenage experience?

If you would like to share your answers with me, I would love to hear them. Just reply to this email jodiepietx@yahoo.com with your answers. Thanks for taking some time today to spend with me. I love serving your family.

Have a great day!

Back to School!!!!

“ugh, back to school” as some of the youth at my church were saying. Some encouraged each other some just wined about it and some are just plane scared!

I remember as a youth going into middle school, then it was a 6th grader. I was so scared because it was new, I would loose my way or just plane be late to class and get in trouble! Rules Rules Rules, it was all about Rules! Little did I know that those “RUles” were going to help me as an adult to discipline myself. Yep, they actually helped! I am not late to work, (unless Mark makes me, oh was that a blame? haha) I also take my medicine as I am suppose to on time. So much more learned just from the Rules that we practiced let alone the classes we took and learned many things that has happened in history and so on. History class can actually help you at the movies! Math, well, I use it for making a few mileage checks for techs, balance the works deposits, measure rooms at home for remodeling, and the list goes on..

So, I am praying every student, teacher admin and others work together for the good of each other and bring about a great year for those growing and learning something new everyday. Even the new teachers are growing and learning this year!

Be blessed and favored by parents, teachers and leaders everywhere! Even english I have learned somthing new, But still have a problem with today ahhaha, spelling and gramer ugh!! haha

Keep on keeping on for Christ and be the person you were created to be in Christ! Wow, if everyone became that, what a world that would be!

When you are sinking think about the one who walks on water his love is everlasting and unfailing he brings joy to your heart and warmth to your soul his name is Jesus he is the long of kings glory o the heavens if you make time to seek you’ll find his presence is overwhelming and satisfies your hunger ,who shall separate us? He burns a key to my heart cause he is the one who holds it my love belongs to him…. Jesus
He gave it all for me and you so I decided I give him my whole heart since he gave is whole life for me, he bled for me… For our sins he writes words upon my skin to describe who I’ll be and who I stand for, he even signed his name….. – Jesus

My Love story! ♥
Once up on a time… I was captured, unsaved and sentenced to death. I tried to escape that dreadful stage that I was in. Doing anything I could to fill the void and aloneness I felt. Nothing and no one in this world could save me. Suddenly, One day… I met this man. He wasn’t a knight or a handsome prince who came to rescue me so we could ride into the sunset. He came to do more then that…. He came to give me eternal life, fill my void and wash me white as snow! He said, “Daughter you are free!” Blinded by grief and pain I laughed and said, “What I’ve done can’t be undone, can’t be forgiven!! I must die!” “Wrong!!”he cried. I took your place, I died for you on Calvary. You just have to let me in! With tears running down my face, I said,”I’m simply a filthy wretch, I don’t deserve such love…… ” With his gentle hands he wiped away my tears and said, “You were made for love, Who that I set free is free indeed. By my wounds you are healed.” Overwhelmed by such love and peace…I didn’t want him to go. I fell in Love. He said I will never live you or forsake you. I am preparing a place for you and coming back soon. Now go tell the World….. 🙂

the life book

Posted: February 20, 2014 by impactym2000 in Uncategorized

We received  “the life book” at our church this past Sunday. We handed out 1000 books in one week to the members of our church young and old. These books have been placed in students hands, set in offices, set in restaurants and more. To imagine that 1000 people will be reading these books and praying that lives will be changed is an awesome thought.

If your church or youth group would like to be a part of this huge hand out of Gods word made simple so others can understand and come to know Christ, you would need to go to http://www.thelifebook.com . You must be a pastor or youth pastor and I believe teacher? in order to have these come to you.

We have a church with 300 or more and we ordered 1000. They were all gone with most taking only 10 or so each.

This book offers them the truth and the way to acceptance to Christ. I love it for youth but if you know someone in the family that don’t know Christ and have never read the bible, this is the book for them. Gets them interested in wanting to read more of the Bible I would say.

Encourage and life someone up today! It’s all about Jesus, not our self and our own wants or desires. When we put Him first, He places us where He wants us. 100% to God, there is no Grey area. It’s either for Him or against him. Only giving Him part of your life is wrong too. Give Him all of your life. You will be rewarded for this, greater than you could even imagine.

James 3:17, 18 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, them peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
